About The Artist – Noha Fekry

Noha Fekry is a multitalented artist who leads two musical groups, an Arabic Indie band and a Jazz group.

She is an established figure in the Egyptian jazz scene. Her performances with her Jazz group range from Jazz standards to Arabic and world famous tunes re-harmonized and interpreted in her Jazz group’s fashion. She performs regularly inside and outside of Egypt, constantly collaborating with local and international musicians.

Music has always been her companion since childhood, as she grew up in a very musical house and was very involved early on with church choirs.

In 2007, Noha released her first single, entitled “Together”. The song is written, composed and arranged by the American musician Darryl Kennedy as part of an album called “Voices from the Sand”.

In 2008, she became a member in the Riff band and the following year marked a full dedication to her music career, shifting from her previous career path.

In 2012 she started her song writing journey and released two songs that year, namely “Namla”, and “The Last Lullaby”.

In 2015, she released her first album “A conversation” in collaboration with Egyptian jazz pianist Rami Attallah. They launched the album in Egypt and toured Amman with it in the same year. She released her following two live albums digitally in 2021, entitled “Noha Fekry”; and 2022, entitled “Live in Cairo” with her jazz group.

A74A1062 (1280x723).jpg Aside from leading her jazz group, Noha took her own compositions and piano playing to stage, founding her Arabic Indie band with a fresh new sound. The new formation’s distinct feature is the presence of a string quartet, adding a profound dimension to the music.

Another playground for her is the world of dubbing, as she is one of the main Arabic voices on Disney and Netflix movies and series. To name a few: Over The Moon, Arlo, Raya, Alice in the Wonderland, Encanto, Wish, Moana 2 and many more.
